Dave Welbourne was a co-founder of the original E&I engineering company, CSMS, in 1988, which became a part of the Ilitha Group.

Dave is responsible for the overall management of the Ilitha Group and co-ordinating the development and implementation of Ilitha’s business growth strategy.

Moses is a qualified Quantity Surveyor and has gained a wealth of experience from his previous positions in Quantity Surveying, Cost Engineering and Procurement.

Moses is Ilitha’s Marketing Manager. He is committed to exploring new business opportunities and maintaining and building existing client relationships.

Hlubi Mzamo achieved his BSc Chemical Engineering Degree at UCT in 1991 and since then has occupied a number of senior managerial positions in the engineering and shipping / marine industry.

Hlubi’s responsibilities include the account management for one of Ilitha Project Service’s key Clients, PetroSA. In addition, Hlubi is a new venture specialist, focused on supporting the development of unique business opportunities for the Ilitha Group.

Barthlo Harmse is dedicated to creating unique opportunities for the Ilitha Group and developing these into successful projects and operating businesses. Barthlo maintains responsibility for the marketing of the process group and also provides ongoing business support to Scion Technologies.

Barthlo Harmse completed his Masters in Chemical Engineering in 1986. He has since gained extensive experience in conceptual design, commissioning, start-up support, detailed design and operation of refinery and GTL gas conversion plants. Barthlo was a co-founder of the original Project Development Africa (PDA) consulting engineering company, in 1993, which became a part of the Ilitha Group.

Nunda Naidoo has a Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering and has an extremely strong background in petrochem trading and the highly specialised field of project financing. Nunda’s role within the Ilitha Group is assistance with new ventures, specialising in Project Finance.

Zulfah Burghers has a BCom in Accounting with a strong background in financial management and accounting.

Zulfah is actively involved in the management of the Ilitha Group and is tasked with developing and maintaining Ilitha’s financial management and performance measurement systems.

Johan manages the Ilitha Group Company, Ilitha Project Services, which provides a range of engineering services and solutions to clients in the process industry.

MBA Graduate, Johan Pretorius, has been involved in Instrumentation and Control Systems since 1986 and has accumulated extensive experience in the Iron and Steel Industry, Petrochemical and Automation solution industries.

Alan is the Manager of our Specialised Staffing Company, as well as being our HR Manager. He is responsible for managing our staffing account with Chevron and other major clients, supplying a fully inclusive service, including performance and HR management functions.

Alan commenced his career in the placement of engineering staff in 1980 and has a wealth of experience in this field.

Karen Rowe is a qualified process engineer, responsible for the General Management of Scion Technologies.

Scion Technologies provides environmental technology solutions to process industries. Karen’s responsibilities include the growth of Scion as a world-class technology solutions provider.
